A PIC-Based GPS Receiver Interface
Here is a simple PIC-based GPS receiver interface. The GPS itself is a SiRF III and can get a signal even in the basement, which is pretty good.
Parsing NMEA output in PIC Basic is tricky, especially when you want to convert units without the benefit of floating point math!
