UFO?

I just got back inside from trying to image the asteroid Vesta. It turned overcast so that was the end of that. We’ll see if I got anything after I process the images.

So anyway, at around 7:40PM CST I was looking almost straight up, maybe a little towards Orion, when I saw 6-10 objects moving in a loose formation to the SSE, through Orion. They were not pinpoints of light, but possibly birds being lit by the glow of the sun, which may have been shining on them at their altitude.

About the time they were beneath Orion, they started to change their formation. They moved very quickly, turning to a single, line, then fanned out, all moving forward. Then, they suddenly disappeared.

I’m guessing birds, since astronomical twilight was at 7:35PM. At altitude the sun could be lighting them.
